Austell has a local Code Enforcement team that is dedicated to making sure that all city ordinances are followed to ensure a beautiful city for everyone. The city codes have been established and are enforceable. Residents are able to file complaints to the Code Enforcement team when they suspect that something is not up to code. The Austell Code Enforcement team enforces the following: property nuisances, health and safety concerns, grass and weeds, junk cars, personal vehicle sales, temporary signs, garage sales, outside storage limitations, recycle bins and garbage cans, and structure.
