The Coweta County Jail is located on the premises with the sheriff’s office, and the Jail Division Director is Major Eric Smith. Visits with inmates are only done via video. Visitation is held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. Visitation days are assigned according to cell location. An inmate may only have one visit per scheduled visit day, and the visit can only be 15 minutes. A maximum of 4 visitors are allowed per visit.
