Port Wentworth is a city in northeastern Chatham County, Georgia, on the Georgia coast. The city is part of the Savannah Metropolitan Statistical Area. During the 2010 census, the population was recorded at 5,359 residents but it is estimated that the population has grown since then to at least 7,930 citizens.
