Trion, Georgia is a town in Chattooga County, Georgia. Trion is the second largest incorporated community in Chattooga County, Georgia and is known as the denim capital of the word thanks to the manufacturing plant, now called the Mount Vernon Plant, which has around 4,000 employs. This current Mill is Mill #3 as the first burnt in 1875. In the 2010 Census, the population of Trion was 1,827 but estimates in 2016 show that the population has decreased to 1,780.
