Woodbine, Georgia is both a city in and the county seat of Camden County, Georgia. Camden County was one of the original counties that was established when the state constitution was adopted in the year of 1777. While Woodbine is the County Seat of Camden County, it is not the largest city as that honor goes to the city of St. Marys. The population of Camden County was 50,513 at the 2010 census and it is the 11th largest county in the state. Camden COunty is located in the southeastern corner of Georgia and it is part of the Jacksonville-St. Marys-Palatka FL-GA Combined Statistical Area.

    County Sheriff, Warrant, Most Wanted Information in Woodbine, Georgia

    The County Sheriff’s Office, under Jim Reynolds, is in charge of the Camden County Georgia Detention Facility which is where inmates are housed.

    Visitation schedules are determined by the last name of the inmate. Saturday is for those with last names from A – M, while Sunday is for those with N-Z. Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

    You must be on the inmate’s list for visitation privileges, and inmates are allowed only four names on their list. Inmates are allowed a maximum of three visitors for a 15 minute period. Visitors between the ages of 14 and 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal garden, so not just any adult will do.

    Visitors are prohibited from bringing cell phones, pagers, keys, purses, and most personal possessions inside the facility with them and it is recommended that you leave them in your car.
    There is a dress code for visitation that is strictly adhered to and failure to comply with the dress code will require you to either find alternative clothing or you will not be allowed to visit. Sleeveless shirts, short shorts, tank tops, and low cut tops are not allowed. Dress conservatively and modestly when visiting a jail or prison.
