I would like to say Thank you to the South Effingham boys baseball team , coaches and affiliates. The Sheriff’s Office was honored for “Public Safety Night” Friday night. Each deputy was assigned a field position, as the team was introduced the player shook hands with the deputy and replaced him/ her.
I had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. Practiced all week and was able to hit the catcher without bouncing the ball.
Effingham County has the best school system Principals, teachers, coaches, administrators, etc. of any in the state. Thx Effingham and South Effingham for what y’all do for our young people.
