Sex Offender Search and Lookup

Each registered sex offender’s information is recorded on either national or state based sex offender database. All these sex offenders have been charged with either a sex crime or a kidnapping crime. A sex offender is someone who has committed a sex-related crime including rape, statutory rape, incest, sexual abuse of a minor, child pornography, and sex trafficking.

You should keep in mind the search result will display the latest or primary addresses or block of the sex offender you are looking for. You have to accept a disclosure to access information from the database.

Bail and Bondsman

You can obtain a release from the policy custody if you post the bail money to the court. Typically, the bail money is 10% of the total money charged for a crime offense. The court will review the crime offense and decides how much money one should pay as charges for whatever crime they have committed. If the bail money set is too high or if you are going through financial hardship, you should get help from a bail bondsman. A verified bail bondsman would post the bail money for you and charge a minimum of $100. In some cases, you might end up paying around 10-15% of the total bail money.

On this date, May 15 our nation recognizes Peace Officer Memorial Day. All flags are to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset to honor Peace Officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. We as Peace Officers recognize this as a day to remember our fallen brothers and sisters all across our nation and our territories who gave the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty with dedication and service to our communities. We should especially remember Officer Chase Maddox, Locust Grove PD who fell on February 9, 2018.

President John F. Kennedy declared the first Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15, 1962, as a tribute to peace officers and in honor of peace officers who, through their courageous deeds, lost their lives or became disabled in the line of duty. This day has been observed in our country annually ever since.

We have received several calls today regarding a local phone scam, that has resurfaced. The person on the phone identifies themselves as a Captain or Sergeant with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, calling to inform you that you have missed jury duty. The person on the phone requests that a payment must be made, or a warrant will be issued. They may also instruct you to go to a local business to pay through a kiosk. It appears they are using phone numbers similar to the Sheriff’s Office, to appear real.
If you have any questions please call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 770-288-7103.
