Woodbine, Georgia is both a city in and the county seat of Camden County, Georgia. Camden County was one of the original counties that was established when the state constitution was adopted in the year of 1777. While Woodbine is the County Seat of Camden County, it is not the largest city as that honor goes to the city of St. Marys. The population of Camden County was 50,513 at the 2010 census and it is the 11th largest county in the state. Camden COunty is located in the southeastern corner of Georgia and it is part of the Jacksonville-St. Marys-Palatka FL-GA Combined Statistical Area.
At the 2010 census, the population of Woodbine, Georgia was listed at 1 412; however, it was estimated in 2016 that the population had decreased to approximately 1,322 residents.
