The Hall County Jail is located on Barber Road in Gainesville, and it’s under the supervision of Casey Ivey and Joe Carter. The jail houses more than 1,000 inmates. Onsite visitation is only done via video, and an inmate can have one 30-minute visit per week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday, between 8 am and 5:30 pm. All visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
