Mike has served over 35 years in Public Service with State and Municipal agencies (Mayor since December 2017). He is a graduate of Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration/Criminal Justice. He was the Police Chief in Cumming, Georgia and was a Special Agent in Charge with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in the Gainesville office. Mike has many years of experience dealing with management, budgeting and planning. Mike has lived in Dawsonville since 2013 and is active in the Dawsonville Civitan Club, helping individuals with developmental disabilities. Mike is a member and Deacon of Friendship Baptist Church in Cumming, Georgia.
